With a stellar line-up made of vocalist David Draiman, bassist John Moyer, guitarist Dan Donegan, and drummer Mike Wengren, the band has so far released a number of six studio albums. Five of these albums accomplished the amazing performance of debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 record chart. After an absence of four years, Disturbed became active again in 2015, when they released their newest album, entitled “Immortalized”. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac is one of the most successful tribute bands of today, having organized more than 600 major concerts all over the world. Devised as the ultimate celebration of the music of the legendary British-American rock band Fleet wood Mac, Rumours of Fleet wood Mac is endorsed by none other than Mick Fleetwood, one of the founding members of Fleet wood Mac. Due to the great skills of this amazing tribute band, fans of Fleetwood Mac who never had the chance to see their idols on stage can now listen to some splendid new live versions of timeless hits such as “Dreams”, “Go Your Own Way”, “Little Lies” or “Everywhere”. On February 1, at 7:30, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac will host a live gig at the Cadogan Hall.
3. St. Paul and the Broken Bones
Established in 2012 in Birmingham, Alabama, St. Paul and the Broken Bones is one of the most popular soul bands of the moment. Their most interesting particularity is that during their performances they use both trombone and baritone saxophone. Although they are a relatively recent band and they’ve only been active for 4 years, St. Paul and the Broken Bones have already gained an impressive fan base. So far, this six-piece soul band has released two albums, “Half the City” and “Sea of Noise”, and two EPs. On February 3, at 7:00 PM, all fans of St. Paul and the Broken Bones are invited to their concert at the O2 Forum Kentish Town.
4. Bloc Party
Bloc Party is one of the most renowned bands from the indie rock music scene of our time. Formed in 1999, in London, the band is made of KeleOkereke, Russell Lissack, Justin Harris and Louise Bartle. The amazing originality of the music of Bloc Party comes from the fact that, although at base they are a rock band, they masterfully combine elements of other genres, like electronic or house. So far, Bloc Party has released five studio albums. Their most recent one, entitled “Hymns”, was made available at the beginning of last year. On February 10 and 11, at 7:00 PM, Bloc Party will sing live at the Roundhouse.
5. The Naked and Famous
The Naked and Famous is a widely-acclaimed indie electronic band from New Zealand. Established in 2007 in Auckland, the band has a style which also features elements of indie rock, post-punk revival or synth pop. Until the present day, The Naked and Famous have released three albums, “Passive Me, Aggressive You”, “In Rolling Waves” and “Simple Forms”. The latter was released in October last year and has had an impressively good reception from fans. Some of their most famous hits include “Young Blood”, “Hearts Like Ours” and “Punching In A Dream”. On February 14, at 7:30 PM, The Naked and Famous will be on the stage of the O2 Forum Kentish Town.
